To discuss oddities about me that might make you appear more normal

A little more about me, for Get to Know Me week (as if you didn't know enough already).

Odd things about me:
  • I can't stand peas or beans. But, even more, I can't tolerate bananas (the fruit, not artificial flavoring). Bananas make me gag. Literally.
  • When moving around in the shower, I only turn counter-clockwise, and I have no idea why.
  • I am not scared of any animals/insects- I won't not do something out of fear of some bug or critter. But I am scared of shark attacks-- and I live in Pennsylvania... and love sharks.
  • When I'm interested in a new hobby/possible purchase, I will research it ad nauseum, for days on end.
  • I have trouble remembering people's names, but wonder why they can't remember mine.
  • I don't like gum.
  • If I unintentionally form a habit of doing something- the order I get ready in morning, for example- I'll get self-conscious about it and continue to do it out of superstition, even if I don't really believe in superstition.
  • When I perform for theater/live shows, I sing the same song right before I go on, every time (theater, on the other hand, is built on superstition)- Ella Fitzgerald's "Our Love is Here to Stay." I also make sure my fly isn't down, even if I'm wearing tights.
  • I'm ambidextrous, but only in some things- I write right-handed (because that's how I was taught). I shoot a basketball and throw a football left-handed. I bat and throw a baseball right-handed. I eat some foods left-handed.
  • I can't roll my R's.
  • I have a double-jointed middle finger.
  • I have an indentation in my chest on the breastbone area (always have)
What about you?
